LUCRESTA Clean Energy - State-of-the-art biomethane production in a new dimension

LUCRESTA Clean Energy develops large-scale biomethane production plants based on the innovative LUCRESTA process technology. Compared to conventional biogas plants, LUCRESTA technology can generate up to 60% more energy from substrates rich in raw fibers, as confirmed by an independent expert. This approach increases efficiency while reducing the ecological footprint.

Innovative manufacturing process for the environment

LUCRESTA offers a comprehensive package, from the planning to the operation of state-of-the-art biomethane plants “Made in Germany”. Based on highly efficient biotechnological process engineering, clean biomethane is produced from regionally available biogenic residues in plants of scalable size.

The LUCRESTA range includes biomethane plants of the highest efficiency, ranging from 30 MWth to 100 MWth , which can be dimensioned depending on the respective site conditions. The standard LUCRESTA plant has a capacity of 60 MW, making it one of the largest biomethane plants globally.

What makes it special

LUCRESTA can be loosely translated from Latin as “generating light/energy from waste”. Our mission is the efficient production of energy from unused biological waste and residual materials.

We aim to make optimal use of available and previously untapped natural resources for modern energy production. In other words, our innovative production process begins where conventional biomethane plants leave off.
